Amigo Modern is a design studio based in Long Beach,CA specializing in furniture and home accessories in the spirit of California Modernism. Amigo Modern is collaboration between Miles Thompson and Eric Trine,who is known for his playful approach to furniture and accessory design. Amigo Modern worked with The Saguaro to create brightly colored vignettes in the lobby, as well as custom furniture pieces in guest rooms.

Mokuyobi is a Los Angeles-based lifestyle brand that is all about fun for the sake of fun paired with made in the USA high quality construction. The Saguaro collaborated with Julie Pinzur, founder and creative director of Mokuyobi, to design the hotel’s uniforms. The uniforms were such a hit that The Saguaro continued working with Mokuyobi to design a custom retail line, available at the front desk and online.

Harvey’s is a Southern California-based design house founded by husband & wife, Dana + Melanie Harvey. Harvey’s creates useful products that are sustainable, vegan, and made in the USA. Harvey’s worked with The Saguaro to create a custom lawn chair in The Saguaro color palette, which can be found in the courtyard, by the fire pits.

Sarah Scheideman is an artist based in Palm Springs. Sarah’s career launched with her arts + culture blog,“The Coachella Valley Art Scene”, which served as a platform for emerging artists and quickly gained popularity resulting in event production, an art gallery, and eventually becoming a nonprofit. She is widely known for her ‘pop-up craft sessions’ where she provides a safe space for everyone to reconnect with the artist that lives within. Sarah’s iconic color-coded art installation, “Coloramas”, is featured in the lobby of The Saguaro Palm Springs.

Splitting her time between a studio in Silverlake and the magical desert town of Yucca Valley, Sana Keefer is a visual artist, prop stylist, and gluten-free bread baker finding inspiration in the high desert’s great unknown.Drawing from her studies in color and interiors at Parsons School of Design, Sana, in a tried and true palette, explores the relationship between the organic shapes and open sky surrounding OldWoman Springs Road. Sana’s artwork is featured in Saguaro’s blue, red, and yellow guest rooms.

An extension of the artist’s fascination with the distillation of form, Ben’s untitled ‘Suns’ present an interior alternative / supplement to the copious natural light of the Coachella Valley. ‘Suns’ can be found in the Saguaro’s orange guest rooms.

Erin’s passion for aesthetics and design led her from New York City, to a beekeeping farm in Carpinteria, to the White Sands and Mojave deserts. Erin finds inspiration in the natural environment and three-dimensional form. Drawing from her background in ceramics and her childhood dream of becoming an Olympic swimmer, Erin has taken to using foam as a medium in her latest work. Erin’s sculptures can be found in The Saguaro’s guest bathrooms.

Inspired by Bauhaus architecture and the Memphis Group, Nobel’s work aims to cast a postmodern take on everyday household objects while incorporating the structural forms of modern architecture. Every piece is designed, engineered, and produced in California. Nobel’s glowing cactus sculptures can be found in Saguaro guest rooms.
