Policies & Procedures

In these Policies & Procedures rules, we will refer to The Saguaro and its affiliates as “The Hotel”.

 

1. Your Personal Information
We will use the personal information you provide us in connection with your stay, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

 

2. Guests
Hotel guests are permitted to bring guests with them to the property, although please be aware that during very busy times we may have to restrict guest access to certain areas of the Hotel at our discretion. For the avoidance of doubt, Hotel guests must follow the on-site guest policy as it relates to use of the pool. Guests may not enter the Hotel without a Hotel guest being present. Hotel guests are responsible for ensuring their guests follow all Hotel rules and policies, and can be asked to leave the Hotel if their guests violate such rules or policies. Hotel guests should not congregate in groups of more than 6 within the Hotel unless such group is associated with a pre-booked event at the Hotel.

 

3. Privacy for Guests
Guests and patrons must not disturb or solicit others in the Hotel with whom they are not personally acquainted.

 

4. Audio/Video Sound
Any audio and video, including, but not limited to, movies, videos, songs, music, internet calls, presentations and all other audio must only be played through headphones and should not be audible to any other guest present. Internet calls must only take place in designated areas. Music, television, and all other entertainment enjoyed in guest rooms should not be audible outside of the room. All music at the Hotel will be volume controlled by the Hotel.

 

5. Press/Social Media
Unless otherwise agreed to in writing between the Hotel and a guest, the Hotel operates a strict no press policy both on and off the hotel premises. Hotel guests will be held accountable if they or their guests disclose or identify any other guests who are in the
Hotel without their permission, whether in any press or social media including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok and on personal blogs.

 

6. Illegal Drugs/Substances/Items
No Hotel guest or patron shall purchase, use, ingest, possess, sell or otherwise distribute illegal drugs or other substances, or attempt to do any of the same. No Hotel guest or patron shall ask any Hotel staff for illegal drugs or other substances while on Hotel premises, or in the immediate vicinity thereof. If any of the actions above prove true, the relevant Hotel guest or patron will be removed from the Hotel.
No guest or patron shall purchase, sell, use or possess any object which is dangerous, illegal or offensive while on Hotel premises or in the immediate vicinity thereof, including, but not limited to, firearms and weapons. If any such objects are found, the item will be confiscated, the relevant Hotel guest or patron will be removed from the Hotel and, depending on the circumstances, we may have to call the police or relevant authorities.

 

7. Animals
We allow domesticated dogs and cats, provided, that animals may not be left unattended. No other animals or unattended pets are permitted in the Hotel, without prior approval. No animals or pets are permitted at the pool, in restaurants, or in bar spaces at the Hotel except for trained service animals. Guests are solely responsible for any damages and/or cleaning costs caused by their animals.

 

8. Accidents and Injuries
We want all our guests to relax and enjoy the activities and facilities available at our Hotels. Hotel guests agree to observe the Hotel rules and any signs published or displayed at our Hotels at any time; to only swim in designated areas; to only use all facilities, including but not limited to, the pool and gym during the posted hours of operation; and to take reasonable precautions when traveling around the grounds or using the facilities at the Hotel.
If a guest has an accident or suffers any injury at the Hotel, please report this as soon as possible to a member of staff and, in any event, within 24 hours of the incident.

 

9. CCTV
Guests and patrons should be aware that for safety reasons, we use CCTV across all of our Hotels. By entering the Hotel premises, you consent to being record on CCTV.
10. Smoking Policy
Anyone entering the Hotel premises is obligated to abide by the Hotel’s smoking policy, and to all applicable no-smoking governmental laws, rules and regulations. No smoking (including, but not limited to, e-cigarettes and vapes) is allowed inside the Hotel at any time or within twenty (20) feet of any entrance(s). Hotel reserves the right to prohibit or limit smoking in any area of the Hotel premises at any time at its sole and absolute discretion. Any violation of this policy is subject to a smoking fee and/or removal from the Hotel.
This policy is not intended to stop people from smoking, but to regulate where they smoke and how it affects others. Hotel reserves the right to designate certain outside areas of the Hotel premises as smoking areas and to change the location of such areas at any time. However, all guests are requested to respect the wishes of other guests with respect to smoking, and to refrain from smoking when requested to do so.

 

11. Noxious Odors
Any items that cause a strong smell, including but not limited to, candles, incense, essential oils (including diffusers and vaporizers) or any other items or fragrances are strictly prohibited. These items and activities will be treated as smoking and the guest may be evicted with no refunds.

 

12. Food and Beverages
Guests and patrons may not bring any outside food or beverages to any of the private event spaces within the hotel, unless medically/religiously necessary and/or with Hotel’s prior approval. Fees may apply in connection any of the above exceptions.

 

13. Treatment of Others
Guests and patrons should treat all others, including, but not limited to other guests and Hotel staff with respect. Profanity should not be directed at Hotel staff and should not be spoken so as to be heard by other guests.
Guests and patrons may not abuse any of the Hotel’s employees or other guests, verbally or otherwise. Violation of this rule may result in removal from the Hotel or other disciplinary action determined by the Hotel. All service employees of the Hotel are under the supervision of the Hotel General Manager and no guest or patron shall reprimand or discipline any employee, nor shall a guest or patron request an employee or other guest to leave the Hotel for any reason. Any employee not rendering courteous and prompt service should be reported to the management of the Hotel immediately.
Guests and patrons may not make any physical contact with any Hotel employees.

 

14. Applicable Law
Hotel guests and patrons agree to abide by all applicable laws, including, but not limited to federal, state and local laws while on the Hotel premises.

 

15. Signage
No signage of any kind shall be hung in any are of the Hotel by any guests or patrons, including, but not limited to: (i) public areas, including the front entrance, front desk, restaurant(s) and restroom areas, (ii) exterior corridors, including guest room doors, (iii) parking lots, including guest room parking, hotel parking and car windows and (iv) private event space walls or ceilings.

 

16. Disciplinary Procedure
Conduct by a guest or patron that is prejudicial to the reputation and character of the Hotel may result in removal from the Hotel. Such conduct may include inappropriate, violent or abusive behavior, or the communication of information concerning Hotel affairs or other guests in the Hotel to the media. Any guests or patrons who willfully remove, damage or destroy any property belonging to the Hotel, or to other guests on the premises of the Hotel, will be liable to removal from the Hotel.
Every guest and patron binds him/herself to abide by the rules, bylaws and regulations of the Hotel. If the Hotel considers that any guest’s conduct on the Hotel premises is, at its absolute discretion, contrary to the interests of the Hotel, the Hotel may with immediate effect expel the guest from the Hotel premises without having to give any reason to such guest.

 

17. Hotel Trademark Rights
Guests shall not use the names, logos, colors, trademarks, service marks, photographs, trade dress, or other identifying features of the Hotel and its affiliates (the “Hotel Marks”) without obtaining the specific prior written approval of the Hotel as to the specific use.
You hereby expressly recognize that the Hotel Marks are the valid, unique and exclusive property of the Hotel, its parent, affiliates and/or subsidiaries. Guests may not produce, use or create, or authorize others to produce, use or create, the Hotel Marks for any purpose whatsoever, including, but not limited to, in any communications, marketing, advertising or other promotional materials (including, but not limited to, brochures, flyers,
invitations and e-mail messages) that utilize the Hotel Marks without Hotel’s prior written consent.

 

18. Cameras/Recording Devices
No cameras, video or other recording devices, whether live-streaming or otherwise and whether on a mobile phone or other medium for commercial purposes, may be used while in the Hotel without prior written authorization by the Hotel. The Hotel reserves the right to take possession of and confiscate any mobile phone, camera, video or other recording device and any photos, videos or other recorded images used or taken while on Hotel premises if used for any unauthorized commercial purposes.

 

19. Use of Facilities
Use of any of the common space and facilities available at the Hotel, including, but not limited to, gym or fitness equipment and other areas is entirely at the risk of a Hotel guest. You must not use any equipment, or undertake any activity at the Hotel, unless you are satisfied that you are competent to do so in a safe and proper manner.
When using any equipment and facilities available at the Hotel, you must take care to safeguard your own health and safety and that of other people. You will be solely responsible for any loss or injury that you cause to yourself, other persons, or to the equipment or facilities through your unsafe or improper use of the equipment or facilities. This includes your use of them while under the influence of alcohol or medication, or your failure to advise staff of a medical condition relevant to your use of the equipment or facilities.
Any minors under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for use of any of the facilities, including the pool and gym.

 

20. Liability of the Hotel
All items brought into the Hotel are brought and left entirely at the risk of a Hotel guest or patron. The Hotel, its servants and/or agents shall not be liable to any guest for any loss, damage or injury suffered by them or their property howsoever caused, save in respect of death or personal injury to a guest to the extent caused by the negligence of the Hotel, its servants and/or agents. This is not intended to affect any mandatory rights a guest may have under local law that we cannot legally restrict or exclude.

 

21. Amendments to the Hotel Rules
The Hotel reserves the right to change the Hotel rules from time to time at its discretion.
