El Jefe launches Secret Service this Valentine’s Day, delivering a special nightcap treat to your doorstep with gifts in every bag. You may get a comped 2-night stay, a VIP dining card to El Jefe to use endlessly, or a comped couples massage from our Spa. Every delivery bag gets a gift, and of course, delicious Tiramisu and a Horchata Cocktail.
Inspired by secret delivery services in New York City in the late 1980s when food delivery was promoted by word-of-mouth marketing before the internet. Patrons had no idea where the food was being prepared. It may have been made at someone’s home or a makeshift commercial kitchen, but at first bite, they kept coming back for more. These operations in the city were rumored to provide the absolute best food and you had to be in the know to experience it.
El Jefe puts a twist on this tradition of Valentine’s Day, delivering special gift stuffed packages to the lovers looking to have their nightcap dessert and cocktail in the comfort of their own home. Available on DoorDash and UberEats Valentine’s Day.
CHEF ANA LOVE STORY:
Chef Ana Sabatino whisks and folds her love letter into our lives this Valentine’s Day, as she relives memories of admiration and joy when she set off to perfect the alchemy of Tiramisu.
When Chef Ana moved to the United States in 2004, she worked as a busser at an Italian restaurant. The Chef and owner of the establishment took Ana under his wing and taught her how to make Italian food in response to her interest and passion for the cuisine. And as it just so happened, the two chefs fell deeply in love. Their shared love for one another and the food they created poured into every stir of the spoon and were soon married in 2009. Their memories of creating this special dessert together are in each bite of tiramisu you experience this Valentine’s Day. Paired with the warm feelings of a homemade Horchata Cocktail with Horchata De Arroz, Vanilla, Cinnamon, and Rum. A perfect Valentine's Day night cap.
